Watch: My First Season as a Fishing Guide, 114 Days on Haida Gwaii

3h
1 min read

On May 22nd I left home in Prince George to spend the summer as a first-time fishing guide at a remote lodge on Haida Gwaii. This film is those 114 days.

Getting tossed the keys to my boat, learning the water, beaches that feel like another planet, orcas under the net, humpbacks, sea lions stealing our fish, the guests, the grind of midsummer, and the last day on the water.
